Cannock street cleaners to cost council £270k
A new fleet of street cleaners is being bought at a cost of more than £270,000 in Cannock.

Seventeen new vehicles will come into use early next year, if the spending is approved by council chiefs.
They say the £272,500 needs to be spent to avoid having to shell out more on repairs in the future when the street cleaners break down.
A report to the upcoming cabinet meeting says: "The purchase of these replacement vehicles will ensure ongoing operational efficiency and reduce maintenance time as well as helping lower the environmental impact of the fleet."
