The CCTV image shows two men running towards Ashoka Jewellers in Wolverhampton ahead of the daytime attack. A third man at the scene kept watch as the two men battered the shop's front window before making off with £600 of silver jewellery.

The store's terrified owner and a customer cowered in a back room during the raid, which took place at 12.45pm on Tuesday. The gang emptied a display case of its contents including six baby bangles and five rings in the raid which took just 25 seconds.

West Midlands Police said the men fled in the direction of nearby Hordern Road.
