Tributes to 'loving husband' killed in Walsall bus smash
Tributes have been paid to a 'loving husband and fantastic father' who was killed when his car collided with a bus.
Majid Hussain died at the scene following the head-on crash between his Honda Jazz and an X51 bus in Birmingham Road, Walsall, last Monday.
The family of the 34-year-old from Chuckery, who had a young son, have released a statement which paid tribute to his 'beautiful smile' and 'kind-hearted nature'.
They said: "We are utterly devastated and shocked Majid Hussain has been taken away from us so suddenly.
"Majid had an amazing character and a beautiful smile, he would share that smile with everyone.
"He was a kind-hearted person, once you met him you would always remember him, he brought so much happiness to everyone he met."
"Majid was a respectful son, an awesome brother, a loving husband, a fantastic father and an amazing friend.
"He was an aspiring entrepreneur bursting with new and exciting ideas and inventions.
"He was a fanatical Liverpool FC fan and never missed a game.
"May Allah bless his soul in the bless month of Ramadan and grant him jannah. Amen."
A further tribute released by his six siblings through West Midlands Police said: "A loving and caring brother will live forever in my heart and never be forgotten.
"He's in a better place now what more can anyone ask for. Majid was such a lovely and kind-hearted person once you met him, you would always remember him as he brought so much happiness to everyone he met.
"We do and always will love and remember our brother.
"An awesome brother, loving husband and a fantastic father you have left your legacy, it'll never be forgotten I promised you that."
Mr Hussain was driving along Birmingham Road around 6pm when the accident happened. The County Hotel near the crash scene became a refuge for 17 bus passengers who were treated by ambulance staff. A total of 25 people were seen by paramedics.
Scores of tributes have poured in for Mr Hussain with a tribute page set up on Facebook. A service was held for him on Wednesday.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
They are appealing for witnesses or anyone who saw the movements of the silver Honda Jazz before the collision to call the collision investigation unit on 101.
