Hooty's wants to extend its hours
Willenhall-based discount giant Hooty's is to extend its opening hours by more than 16 hours per week, under new plans unveiled today.

The business, based in Longacres Industrial Estate, in Rose Hill, wants to bring its opening hours in line with other competitors in the town.
Under the plans, the store would be open from 8am to 9pm on weekdays, 8am to 7pm on Saturdays and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
A report to Walsall Council, reads: "Since the condition was previously amended, our client has seen an increase in competition in the town. A number of new retailers such as B&M Bargains, Morrisons, 99p Stores and Tesco have opened in recent years."
