The Harvester Salad and Grill, which officially launches on July 15, will be among the first units to open at the new £200m shopping and entertainment complex.

Ninder Johal, vice president of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, welcomed Harvester's investment and news of the jobs today.

"The investment by Harvester into West Bromwich adds to all the other projects which are breathing life into the town at the moment," he said.

The launch of the Harvester will come just days after the development opens on July 11.

The new development is anchored by a Tesco Extra store, which will open at 8am, followed by openings from Next, JD Sports, Bank, Outfit, Deichmann and Phones 4 U plus an Odeon Cinema.
