First 100 take up jobs at new West Bromwich Tesco
The first 100 people to work at the multimillion pound Tesco development in West Bromwich have been recruited, and are due to start training.

The first phase of the recruitment process saw 654 people attend open days, and 491 people attend interviews for the first 100 positions at the supermarket giant.
Tesco expect to employ 750 people at their store which will open in June.
Phase two of the recruitment process will start on April 19, and again will see open days held at West Bromwich Town Hall.
Of those who are successful 150 will be invited to take part in pre-employment training.
