The West Bromwich hospital was closed to visitors last Tuesday after 21 patients came down with the illness.

The restrictions were lifted today following a meeting of hospital bosses, although all visitors will be assessed for symptoms before being allowed on to the wards to see patients.

Four wards were initially affected by the bug. Lyndon Four reopened last week and Lyndon Five reopened today.

However, Priory Five and Lyndon Three remain shut to visitors due to the bug.
