Fault hits London Midland rail route
Rail commuters faced delays today due to signalling problems.

Services between Birmingham and Wolverhampton were delayed by a fault between New Street and Smethwick Rolfe Street.
London Midland said services were delayed by up to 20 minutes from mid-morning, and work was being carried out to restore normal services this afternoon.
Trains were subject to disruption at short notice, the train operator added.
