Latest shop for West Bromwich £200m centre is revealed

The £200 million shopping development in West Bromwich will feature an Outfit store, it can be revealed. The clothing store is the latest retailer to sign up to the New Square Development.

The Arcadia Group shop sells collections from Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Topman, Topshop and Wallis.

The clothing store is the latest retailer to sign up to the New Square Development which is due to open in June.

The Arcadia Group had previously stated they had signed up to take on a unit in June at the development, but had not revealed which store from their portfolio would be opened.

Other retailers announced to take on units include Costa coffee, Primark, Next, JD Sports, Bank, Nandos and Prezzo, while Odeon will also open a cinema at the site.

The development will be anchored by a 144,236sq ft Tesco Extra store, and construction of the development is well underway.

Earlier this week the Express and Star revealed that Tesco bosses are expected to to ring-fence 120 of its 750 jobs for Sandwell residents. A timescale for recruitment for the store has also been agreed.
