Bloxwich firm gives pets chance to be top dog model
We've had Britain's Next Top Model – and now the search is on to find the region's next top dog model.
A pet accessories firm has launched a campaign to find a canine model to front its new season catalogue.
Ancol in Leamore Lane, Bloxwich, which has been running for more than 40 years, wants pet owners to send in photos of their dog to be in with a chance of winning the competition.
Sales director Sarah Lane said: "We have launched this exciting competition to find the new face of Ancol and would welcome all types and breeds of dogs to take part.
"We'll be inviting up to 15 dogs to come along to our casting day so we can meet them and take their photo. So don't delay, send in a photo of your dog today."
Photos, the dog's name, breed and owner's contact details should be sent to dogmodel@ancol.co.uk by 5pm on February 22. The casting day will be held on March 9 at Ancol's offices.
The winning dog will be on the front cover of Ancol's 2013/14 catalogue.
