And now Zlatan Ibrahimovic's magic boots have been given to West Bromwich Albion's Jonas Olsson, who is preparing to raffle them for a good cause.

The fluorescent turqoise Nikes were worn by the Paris St Germain frontman as he sprung into the air and lobbed Joe Hart with an overhead kick, from 30 yards out, during the 4-2 win over England on Wednesday.

He leapt to strike the ball from eight feet in the air, with his back to goal and fired the ball into an ark which peaked at 25 feet in the air, before the ball nestled in the bottom right hand corner, despite a despairing dive to block its path by Ryan Shawcross.

It has been acclaimed as one of the greatest goals ever scored, one of four he scored on the night. And Ibrahimovic's Swedish team-mate Olsson hopes to cash in on demand for the boots from collectors who want to claim a piece of footballing history.

The Baggies favourite is raffling the boots to raise money for The Winnicott Foundation, which cares for premature and critically ill and newborn babies.

The towering centre back has picked the cause with his partner Frida because their own daughter Iris Annabelle was born seven weeks early.

Olsson, 29, said: "This is very close to our hearts because of our beloved daughter. The care, help and support we received from our local hospital was truly amazing and we wish this for everyone."

The Baggies favourite had hoped to raise £5,000 through donations and match it to take the total donation to £10,000.

The boots have, however, proven so popular since pictures were published online, he has already raised more than £5,600.

The boots have Ibrahmovic's name stiched into them and have been signed.

Anyone who donates a minimum £5 will be entered into the raffle. To bid, visit www.justgiving.com/Jonas-Olsson
