Five more teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Walsall 16-year-old Ben Morutare. Police swooped on the suspects yesterday.

An 18-year-old man already arrested in Dudley remains in custody helping officers with their inquiries

Those arrested yesterday are a 19-year-old man from Dudley, two 18-year-old men from Birmingham, an 18-year-old man from West Bromwich and a 17-year-old man from Birmingham.

All are being questioned by detectives.

Ben, from Coalpool, died after being stabbed in the leg outside Smethwick Home Guard & Old Comrades Club in the early hours of Saturday. He later died at Birmingham Children's Hospital.

His devastated family today paid tribute to him, saying he was a boy who "would never hurt anyone".

Hundreds of people have also joined a website group in tribute to Ben, who is believed to have attended Alumwell Business Enterprise College. More than 750 people have begun following a profile set up on Twitter, called Rest In Paradise Ben.

The Oldbury Road club has now closed indefinitely after the youngster was stabbed 200 yards away.
