A touch of Essex came to the Black Country when reality stars turned out for an annual charity rock festival.

The eighth annual Fudgstock festival was held at Wednesbury Rugby Club, the second time the event has been held outdoors. A

nd this year's efforts were extra special for reality television fans as dozens queued to have pictures taken with The Only Way Is Essex stars Mario Falcone and friend Little Chris.

Mario, who drove up to the festival after filming all morning as part of Joey's birthday show, said: "We love to meet the fans and get out there."

Of his engagement to co-star Lucy Mecklenburgh, Mario added: "I'm just chuffed. I feel so grown up."

The event, which features hosts of well-known cover bands, raises money for the neonatal unit at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, in memory of Ryley Lucas Judge - a five-week-old son of one of the organisers, who passed away there - along with Macmillan Cancer Support.

Marathon legend 'Blind Dave' Heeley opened the event, which included a five-a-side football tournament and food stalls.
