A new nursery will open in West Bromwich catering for 60 children and creating 35 new jobs. The Little Tinkers nursery will be based a Gill Group Headquarters on Holyhead Road, opposite the Hawthorns ground.
The nursery, on the second floor of the building, is currently being kitted out with equipment ready for it to open in September.
It will also have its own outside play area with play equipment for the children.
Chairman of the Gill Group, Raj Gill, said he decided to open up the nursery to offer both childcare to his staff and the local community.
The 47-year-old said: "We have the room in the building, and it is an ideal space for children.
"It is light and airy and there is lots of room for all the play equipment. We also have an ideal outside space for a play area for them."
He added: "It will be quite a large nursery with fully trained staff. We have been told we have space for up to 78 children, but we have decided to keep it at 60.
"We are currently in the process of applying for planning permission for the change of use."
Mr Gill said there is a shortage of childcare in the West Bromwich area and he hopes to fill this gap in the market.
