Husband in court over Blackheath teacher murder

The husband of a former Blackheath teacher today appeared in court accused of murdering her.

Undertaker John Colin Taylor is accused of murdering 63-year-old former Blackheath Primary School teacher Alethea Taylor.

Taylor, aged 60, of Mortimer Drive, Orleton, near Ludlow, appeared at Worcester Crown Court and was remanded in custody until July 2.

Mrs Taylor was last seen on January 19. Her body has not been found.
