Lichfield house hit by blaze

Fire crews were called to a blaze in the living room of a home in Staffordshire today.

Crews from Lichfield and Chase Terrace were called to a property in Stychbrook Gardens, Lichfield, at 5.54am.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said three women were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
