The computer-generated image was created by officers using details the 21-year-old victim was able to recall of her attacker's appearance.
Police hope the e-fit will help them trace the offender.
The victim was walking in Hilton Street, West Bromwich, at around 7.30pm on May 2 when she was grabbed by the man.
Officers describe the man as white, in his late 30s, just under 6ft tall, of slim build with short or shaved hair and dark stubble. He was wearing a dark-green fisherman's style coat, grey jogging bottoms and dirty white trainers. Anyone with information can call Sandwell Public Protection Unit on 101.
