West Bromwich murder probe launched

A murder probe was under way today after a woman found with a serious head injury in West Bromwich died.

The 26-year-old was found at an address on High Street at around 3.15am yesterday by the ambulance service. This morning, the victim, a Polish national, died in hospital.

A 32-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman – both Polish nationals – have been arrested on suspicion of murder. A post mortem was being held today.
