Police scour CCTV after Wednesbury alley attack
An investigation was taking place today after an elderly woman was pushed to the ground and robbed of her pension in Wednesbury.

The 74-year-old suffered cuts and bruises during the daytime attack. It took place in an alley between Hardy Road and Vicar Street.
Police are now trawling through CCTV footage to find the attacker.
Wednesbury councillor Elaine Costigan has called for increased police patrols and a security camera to be installed in the alley after the attack, which happened at around noon on Monday.
News of the robbery comes as police continue to hunt for the person responsible for the brutal assault of 94-year-old Emma Winnall, who was targeted in her own bed in Moseley. Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
