Police are trying to trace a 40-year-old woman from Cannock who disappeared at the weekend.

Joanna Evans has learning difficulties and has no money or means of contact.

She disappeared from her Cannock home on Saturday at around 1pm and was last seen wearing a blue three-quarter length jacket, blue jeans, a scarf, dangly earrings and a white duffel bag with black spots.

She has stained brown teeth which are broken at the front.

PC Emily Lennox, from Cannock Chase policing team, said: "Joanna is particularly vulnerable and her family are desperate to know that she is safe and well.

"Joanna should know that she is not in any trouble and does not have to return home if she doesn't want to - we just need to know that she is safe."

Anyone with information should contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 114 of April 23.
