Three new shops opening in Wolverhampton's Mander Centre

Three new shops are to open in Wolverhampton's Mander Centre, creating about 20 jobs.

High street fashion chain Jane Norman will be opening on Friday as part of a national expansion.

And food outlet Baegos will be reopening a shop it closed about a year ago at the entrance to the centre in Victoria Street, opposite Beatties, next Tuesday.

Another shop, The Vintage Company, will be opening in May.

Clothing chain West Coast opened last Friday near Internacionale, another recent addition at the centre.

The new arrivals are seen as a positive step for the city centre, which has struggled in recent years with more than a quarter of shops standing empty.
