This is the first picture of murder suspect Charlotte Frazier-Doody, the woman charged with killing 92-year-old war veteren Bill Davis in his Willenhall home.

Pictured leaving court after her first appearance in connection with the murder, mother-of-two Frazier-Doody looked sullen as she was led away in handcuffs, clutching a book beneath her arm.

Mr Davis, who lived just metres away from his accused killer, died of severe head injuries inside his house, in Hobley Street, on April 1. Married 35-year-old Frazier-Doody was arrested two days later and has been in police custody ever since.

At a second hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court this week, she was told she would remain in custody to await a plea and directions hearing on June 29.

A post mortem found that Mr Davis, who had served in the Royal Navy, died of head injuries.
