Woman's body found in Willenhall

The body of a woman was found at a home in Willenhall today.

Emergency service crews were called to an address in Circuit Close just before 3am today, where a 40-year-old woman was reported dead.

Police today said the death was being treated as unexplained but early indications were that there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances.

A post-mortem was being held later today.

A police cordon was today put in place around the block of flats, off St Anne's Road.

A resident, who did not want to be named, said: "The first I knew was when the police knocked on my door this morning.

"It was a bit of a shock to see the police cordon round the house."
