Stafford police hunt hooded attacker

Police were today hunting a hooded thug who climbed out of a car before attacking a man in the early hours, inflicting head injuries.

The yob hit the 20-year-old victim in the face in Lovatt Street, Stafford, after getting out of a silver car between 5am and 6.30am.

The injured man cycled to Crispin Close where a resident called him an ambulance.

The man was discharged from hospital after treatment.
