MP in call for Aidan Burley to be sacked

A Black Country MP has called for Cannock Chase MP Aidan Burley to be sacked from his government post over his links to a Nazi-themed stag do in France.

Dudley North MP Ian Austin has spoken out after it was revealed Mr Burley, who is Parliamentary Private Secretary to Transport Secretary Justine Greening, was among a group of revellers attending the stag party of an accountant who wore an SS uniform.

It is alleged several members, excluding Mr Burley, chanted Nazi slogans.

Mr Austin questioned Home Secretary Theresa May in the Commons about the situation yesterday.

He told the Express & Star: "Surely David Cameron should sack him."

Mr Burley has apologised about the incident. An inquiry has been launched by the Conservative Party.
