It was the desire to walk down the aisle in her dream wedding dress that first inspired Louise White to start losing weight.

But it was the heartbreak of her relationship falling apart that really spurred the 29-year-old on – and saw her shed four stone. Louise, of Wednesbury, joined a diet club in preparation for her wedding which was taking place in June.

But when the relationship with her fiancé fell apart, the heartbroken mother-of-one began to focus on shedding the pounds for herself.

Louise, of Lancaster Avenue, started her diet in January. She was 14st 3lbs and wanted to slim down for her wedding day. Over the next seven months she prepared for her big day, bought her dress, booked her venue and tried to diet.

But in the summer of 2010, Louise's world collapsed around her when her relationship fell apart.

She said: "It was horrible I had the dress and we had booked St Paul's Church, and we just had to cancel."
