Murder charge is denied

A 37-year-old man today denied the murder of Bradley Hamilton whose body was discovered in a flat in Rowley Street in Chuckery.

Earl Clarke of Batchley Road, Redditch, was alleged to have committed the crime between November 5 and November 8 last year.

Sounaynah Morabir, aged 22, from Wheelwright Road, Erdington pleaded not guilty to assisting an offender by concealing the death of Mr Hamilton between the same dates.

Both defendants appeared at Wolverhampton Crown court this morning before Judge John Warner.

The man and the woman were both remanded in custody until January 16 when they are due to stand trial at the same court.

Both today spoke only to confirm their identities and to enter their not guilty pleas.
