An ice cream war in a Stafford park could be coming to an end after councillors agreed to a policy review.

Tony's Ices, which is a four-star ice-cream business and has operated during the summer season in Victoria Park for 35 years, is run by Kevin Simcock. But it has found itself being undercut by Stafford Borough Council who decided to sell their own ice creams.

Now councillors are to review the decision to compete with the business for next season.
