A new-look pavilion at a Sandwell park has been officially opened following a £55,000 refurbishment.
It was formerly West Smethwick Park's Sons of Rest building and remained unused for more than six years.
It now boasts a main hall, refitted kitchen and toilets along with a ramp for easy access to the building.
The new-look pavilion was funded through the council, Friends group and also contributions from residents and businesses.
In addition, new gym equipment has been provided with cash from the Community Spaces Programme.
Sandwell's Mayor, councillor Joyce Underhill, was invited to unveil the pavilion and gym equipment in West Park Road.
