Licence review at Smethwick drug link pub

A Sandwell pub could be shut down amid complaints about anti-social behaviour.

Published Sep 8, 2011

A Sandwell pub could be shut down amid complaints about anti-social behaviour.

The licence for Malones Wine and Cafe Bar in Smethwick is due to be discussed by Sandwell Council licensing bosses next Thursday.

Elderly residents angry about the noise coming from the High Street pub have prompted the review.
