Hotel sale promises new dawn for Nitenite

A popular budget hotel in Birmingham has been put up for sale after its parent company entered administration.
The Nitenite Hotel, near The Mailbox complex, was one of the UK's first Japanese-style 'pod' hotels with more than 100 windowless rooms.
The hotel will remain open while marketing officers from Colliers International market the property on behalf of its administrators. It is expected to attract offers well in excess of £3 million.
Jonathan Wren, of Colliers International, said: "The Nitenite Hotel is one of central Birmingham's most distinctive and popular hotels.
"Although it is now in administration, it continues to trade successfully and with commendably healthy levels of profit. Having unused space within the building to add additional bedrooms and the opportunity for the brand to be rolled out to other cities, the sale of Nitenite is a unique opportunity for potential buyers."
