Hundreds of rooms have been snapped up in advance of the music festival at Weston Park on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border. The event attracts more than 90,000 revellers and many hotel owners say they are booked up over the weekend.
The event, headlined by Eminem, Rihanna, Arctic Monkeys and Plan B, takes place this Saturday and Sunday.
A receptionist at the Novotel confirmed that all 132 rooms at the Union Street venue have been sold out for the Saturday night with more than 100 also filled for the Sunday night.
Premier Inn spokeswoman Jacqui Johnson said that the hotel in Broad Gauge Way had seen a handful of cancellations in the lead-up to the festival but despite this, they were virtually sold out both nights.
The 87-bedroom Connaught Hotel, on Tettenhall Road, is also sold out for the Saturday, with just 20 rooms left for the Sunday
