Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Lola, aged three years, nine month old Angel, and Paris, 19 months, were found lying motionless on the floor of the smoke choked first floor of the house.
They were snatched to safety by firefighters who were wearing breathing apparatus and had just put out the flames that gutted the next door bedroom.
"They were obviously in a bad way but we picked them up and took them outside as quickly as possible," said firefighter Wes Davis, 28.
Colleagues from Bilston and Merridale Street fire stations immediately started trying to resuscitate the pedigree animals in front of the semi detached property in Fieldhouse Road, Ettingshall, yesterday afternoon.
