Luke Walker faces 12-month killing trial delay
Bailed Greek death suspect Luke Walker has been told it will be at least another 12 months before he stands trial over the death of his long-term girlfriend.
Bailed Greek death suspect Luke Walker has been told it will be at least another 12 months before he stands trial over the death of his long-term girlfriend.
Judges had previously ruled that Walker, aged 23, of Brierley Hill, would stand trial before the end of the year, but his family today revealed the dates had been postponed in a "devastating" turnaround by legal officers in Athens.
The decision means Walker will not have been home to the Black Country for more than two and a half years as bail restrictions mean he cannot leave Greek soil.
His father Patrick, who runs Walkers Electrics, said the news had left the family distraught.
