Ten Wyre Forest care homes to lose daily hot meal service
A hot food service offering daily hot meals to residents at 10 care homes across Wyre Forest will be axed this month, it emerged today.
A hot food service offering daily hot meals to residents at 10 care homes across Wyre Forest will be axed this month, it emerged today.
The Cooking Pot Dining Service, which is run by Wyre Forest Community Housing Trust, will end on July 31.
The service provides people over the age of 50 who are retired or disabled and unable to cook for themselves with a hot meal and desert for £3.50.
Kidderminster's Arch Hill Court, Carter Court, Neville Court, Adams House, Purcell House, Ruth Chamberlain Court and the Fred Bennett Centre will all lose the service, along with Bewdley's Hornbeam House, Stourport's Broomy Close and William Bullock Close Homes and Drumart House in Cookley.
