Glamour girl Jordan sparked scenes of excitement at Dudley's Merry Hill Shopping Centre as scores of hopefuls vied to be signed up by her model agency.

The model-turned-businesswoman is trying to find "the next big thing" as part of a new TV series to launch in the autumn.

More than 100 people queued at the centre on Saturday to get prime positions to watch the show being recorded in the centre's amphitheatre, while more than 100 others watched from the upper mall.

Jordan came on stage dressed in a bright pink dress and white heels to loud cheers.

Once seated at the judging panel, her 25-year-old Latin lover Leandro Penna came on stage to give the 33-year-old a good luck kiss before filming got under way.

After introducing themselves to Jordan, also known as Katie Price, the models had to go backstage and strip to their swimwear or underwear before the mother-of-three decided whether to put them through to the next round of the show.

The models taking part on Saturday were picked after auditions at the centre on Friday.
