Hundreds of Take That fans may have lost out on their tickets for the sell-out Villa Park shows after booking on the internet, it is feared.

The Action Fraud organisation has reported a high number of calls about the firm Ticket Index.

The National Fraud Intelligence Bureau and the City of London Police are investigating the London-based company after a number of fans across the country reported that they have not received their tickets for the band's Progress Live Tour due at the ground on June 27 and 28.

Action Fraud has passed on its information to the Bureau amid police fears that more people will realise they have lost their money as the show dates draw nearer.

The Express and Star tried to contact Ticket Index but phone calls were unanswered.
