The new £38 million headquarters of Staffordshire County Council is taking shape.
The frontage of the building, which features ceiling to floor windows on each floor, has been completed and workers have moved inside to complete internal renovations. County Hall chiefs say work is nearing completion.
The Tipping Street development – to be known as Staffordshire Place – will be the home for 1,700 county employees currently based in 18 outdated buildings across Stafford.
The building formally opens in September and the council says the new building will save taxpayers £250,000 a year over a 40-year period.
