A campaign to cut the number of drink drivers this summer has been launched in Staffordshire.
Figures show that nearly one in six road deaths involves drink drivers, and the county council is vowing to cut this.
More than 30 pubs, social clubs, restaurants and hotels have joined with Staffordshire County Council to promote a designated driver scheme.
The venues will be giving special offers to drivers who stick to soft drinks in an attempt to encourage them to stay safe and sober.
The road safety team runs the I'll Be Des initiative every Christmas but this is the first time it has launched a summer campaign.
