Essex boy done good Olly Murs brought the house down at the NIA last night for his first solo tour, writes Deborah Stewart.

The loveable X Factor 2009 runner-up showed he more than has what it takes on the big stage by keeping the audience on its feet all night in a fun-packed show.

Looking super cool in a white pullover shirt, skin tight cream trousers and grey jacket he kicked off the set with Change is Coming and Thinking About You followed by I Blame Hollywood.

The cheeky chappie, whose music is tinged with reggae, last night wasted no time in praising his adoring fans for their support since his X Factor appearances catapulted him to fame.

He said: "This is officially the biggest crowd that I've got on my tour. This is amazing and it's an absolute pleasure to be here."

Girls swooned and screamed at this slick dance moves as he strutted his stuff in a lively and entertaining show.
