Security guards robbed of Coseley bank cash

Security guards were robbed as they restocked a cash machine in the Black Country today.

Police were called to Bank Street in Coseley at 8.05am after robbers intercepted a delivery to a Barclays ATM machine.

Two men grabbed the cash before fleeing in a silver Peugeot towards Dudley along Birmingham New Road.

No-one was injured and no weapon was used, although the delivery staff were described as "shaken".

Police are appealing for witnesses to call Dudley Police on 0345 113 5000.
