People in Walsall have just a week to have their say on the future of library services in the borough.

Almost 1,500 people have already shared their views, which are being gathered as part of a review into the service.

Existing library users and non-users are invited to take part. The consultation will run until April 10.

People can respond online at www.walsall.gov.uk or fill out questionnaires at the town's libraries.

Views can also be shared by talking to library staff, texting walsall library, followed by your message, to 60003 or by writing to Library Consultation, Walsall Council, Civic Centre, Darwall Street, Walsall, WS1 1TP.

Council head of libraries Sue Grainger said: "There is still plenty of time left for people to have their say and I would urge everyone to take this opportunity."
