A man from Cannock was appearing in court today charged with the murder 17 months ago of his baby son.

Luke Goode, aged two months, died of head injuries in October 2009.

He had lived with his parents in Lupin Drive, Huntingdon.

His father Jonathon Goode, 28, who was still living at the address, was charged yesterday.

He was held in custody overnight to appear before Cannock magistrates today.
