Jobs lost at factory

Seventeen jobs have been lost after a Willenhall manufacturing firm shut.

Bosses at Alloy Polishing and Plating, based at Strawberry Lane Industrial Estate, were forced to go into voluntary liquidation after materials and labour costs rocketed.

It comes after the future of another Willenhall firm was secured after a new buyer was found.

Twelve jobs at Willenhall Tube and Forging Ltd, in Bloxwich Lane Industrial Estate, were saved.
