A dream has come true for a young guitar star after he passed his grade 8 exam with a distinction.
Robert Cadman, aged 15, is delighted to have reached grade 8 - the highest level of ability which can be achieved playing electric guitar.
"It's brilliant to get a distinction - it feels amazing," he beamed.
"I've worked so hard for it and I was amazed when my guitar teacher told me the news."
Robert's parents are very proud of their son's achievement. Mum Debbie said: "We are really proud of Robert, who deserves it after putting in so much practice over the years."
Robert has been learning guitar for five years and his band 3 Pin Socket have enjoyed great success since forming in 2006.
They won a local battle of the bands competition the following year and then starred on CBBC talent show The Slammer.
Now known as 3PS, Robert's band have a new singer called Ollie and are in the studio recording new material with a number of labels interested in signing them.
