A gang of youths burst into a popular fish and chip shop in the Black Country, breaking windows and filling the store and parked cars outside with fire extinguisher foam.
The gang raided Britannia Fish Bar in Ebenezer Street, West Bromwich. The distraught owner today said the repair bill had run to more than £1,000.
Sukrinder Malli, aged 51, said: "It was shocking and just mindless vandalism.
"It was always my dream to own a fish and chip shop. I came to this country 35 years ago, work hard and pay taxes and then this happens."
The gang burst into the shop at 8pm on Thursday and sprayed the fire extinguishers, cracked the main window and smashed up cars outside, including Mrs Malli's Vauxhall Corsa. Police are investigating.
