Mouldy food in Chinese kitchen
A Chinese takeaway had mouldy waste and decaying food unfit for human consumption in its kitchens, a court was told.

Vu Van Lu, owner of Le House Chinese Takeaway in Greets Green, West Bromwich, has been warned he could face jail after pleading guilty to four charges of breaking food hygiene and safety laws.
The 36-year-old, who lives at the address, appeared before magistrates in West Bromwich yesterday, when he admitted to failing to keep his premises clean and in good repair, keeping decaying and unfit food, failing to properly store or dispose of food waste and failing to comply with a hygiene improvement notice.
The takeaway was visited by council officers last October for a standard inspection when "poor hygiene procedures were observed," magistrates were told.
A container of garlic was decaying and unfit for eating, while an open container of food waste was left in the kitchen with mould growing on it, the court heard. His case has now been committed to crown court for sentencing, after magistrates deemed their own powers insufficient.
He is due to appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court on August 17.
