Young talents entertain at concert
Four schools took part in the Rotary Club of Cannock's annual schools concert in the Prince of Wales Centre.

The club invited town schools to present a musical extravaganza to show the talent of their young singers and musicians.
The 40-strong choir of St Luke's Primary School, Cannock, and pianists, violinists, brass instrumentalists and singers from Chase Academy and Chase High School entertained the audience.
The evening was headlined by band Asylum Soldiers, from Cannock's Cardinal Griffin High School, who are through to the county final of Staffordshire Performing Arts' Staffordshire Rocks competition in Stafford on July 4
Colin Brown, chairman of the club's youth and vocational committee, who organised the event said:"We were delighted to have had such talented performers attending – all from our local community. It was great to provide our young people with a showcase for their talent, encouraging the next generation to succeed.
"We are grateful to our sponsors as, due to this support, all funds raised on the evening will benefit the local schools involved. Our thanks also go to the pupils involved and the teachers supporting them."
Master of ceremonies last Thursday was club president Mike Sutton.
