Boss blighted by fly-tippers
A company boss says he is sick and tired of fly-tippers dumping rubbish on his land.

Bob Rice has a sofa, a bath and a kitchen sink lying outside his work unit in Ridgacre Industrial Park, West Bromwich.
Much of it was dumped over the weekend when the gates to the car park were left open but, Mr Rice says, fly-tippers have been wreaking havoc for years. "It's very inconvenient," he said. "It's actually making it difficult for people to get to work because they are dumped outside the units.
"I've been here for 20 years now, and this only started happening when people had to start paying to get rid of their junk. It's always at the weekends when people are clearing their houses or doing the garden – they head off to the tip to get rid of it, and when they see the queues, they think this is the easy option."
Mr Rice, aged 67, of Priory Road, Halesowen, runs consumer goods supply company R Rice Supplies at the industrial estate off Church Lane.
A campaign under way in Sandwell includes a recent bus poster campaign and a television advertisement running on the big screen at The Hawthorns, in a bid to cut down on fly-tipping. People can report illegal dumping on 0845 359 7500.
