More than 250 supporters of diabetic patients have signed up for a sponsored walk at Walsall Arboretum.
More than 250 supporters of diabetic patients have signed up for a sponsored walk at Walsall Arboretum.
Organisers of the June 7 event Diabetes UK hope to raise more than £200,000.
This year the group has joined forces with gym Fitbods Fitness based in Stafford Street to promote the walk.
Gym staff will be on hand to lead a warm up with the participants before they start the walk.
Registration will begin at 11am followed by the walk at midday. There are two walks covering three miles or six miles at the park, in Broadway North.
West Midlands regional fundraising manager Joanna Oldfield said: "Last year we had 350 walkers join us the day so we hope to be able to repeat this again this year.
"It's a fun event for all the family and a great way to do some gentle exercise."
